Amy's Favorite Salad

Serves: 8

This is the way I like salad and my daughter says it is the best salad she has ever had!

   1 head lettuce cut or torn to 1-2 inch peices
   1 cucumber peeled and diced
   1 cup chopped celery
   1 small carrot shredded or finely chopped
   Other vegetables as desired and available
   1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese cut into 1/2 inch cubes
   Croutons as desired
   1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
   2/3 teaspoon italian seasoning
   Broccoli


In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Serve with your favorite dressing.

Other vegetables that should be considered, according to your own taste are:

broccoli florets
califlower florets
fresh mushrooms
bell pepers
ripe olives
cherry tomatos
